Low pressure to the east of the UK on Friday. Cloud and showery outbreaks of rain in central and eastern parts of England. Western areas will be brighter with sunny spells. Scattered showers over the hills of Wales and southwest England. Dry and bright in Ireland, the best sunshine in the east. Highs at 9C in southeast England, 4 to 7C for most.
 


Friday Night
Cloud builds from the west through the night from Friday into Saturday bringing a band of heavy rain across Ireland and Northern Ireland and into western parts of Scotland and Wales and to southwest England by morning. Frequent showers follow the rain for much of Ireland. Overnight lows widely ranging from -1 to 5C, mildest over western Ireland and southeast England.
 


Saturday
Low pressure will push fronts eastwards through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. The rain turning heavy at times and turning to snow over the hills of northern England and Scotland. Drier in the east at first, but rain arriving here later. Heavy showers and brighter weather following into Ireland and the west of the UK. Temperatures at 2 to 4C in Scotland and northern England, 7 to 9C in southern England, Wales and Ireland.


Sunday
Low pressure clears to the south of the country on Sunday. This is going to be bringing periods of rain to southeastern parts of England, although this eases through the morning. Drier weather in Scotland and northern England as well as much of Ireland. Cloud building from the west bringing rain to western Ireland through the late afternoon. Cold for all. Highs around 2 to 8C.
