UK Forecast - December 04, 2021
Mixed
SW high winds Tuesday

Sunday
Low pressure moves away on Sunday, although a trailing front will bring cloudier skies and a mix of rain, sleet and snow to mainly eastern coastal counties of England but also pushing into central areas too. Northeast Scotland and the Northern Isles will also see wintry showers push in. Meanwhile, a ridge of higher pressure will build in from the west which will ease any showers here and bring a bright and sunny day here. Highs 3 to 8C.

Sunday Night
A largely dry start to the night, although showers may continue down some eastern coastal regions. As the night progresses rain, preceded by sleet and snow in the north and over higher ground, will spread eastwards across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and into western parts of Wales and England. Winds will strengthen here too. Lows from -1 to 3C.

Monday
Rain continues to push eastwards across the country on Monday, turning heavy in places, before clearing western areas with sunny spells and showers developing on a still brisk north-westerly wind. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Tuesday
A rapidly deepening area of low pressure moves in towards southwestern regions on Tuesday. It will bring strengthened winds, gale force likely at this stage across the west, and spells of heavy rain for a time as a front pushes northwards. North east England and Scotland will see a dry and fair morning before rain moves in later. Highs at 4 to 8C.
