Plenty of cloud across many parts of the UK and Ireland through Sunday. Fronts will be bringing some breaks of rain across Northern Ireland, Walehttps://www.amazon.co.uk/#s, central and southern England. Brighter weather arriving in southern Ireland, southern Wales and Southwest England with a few sunny spells. A further area of rain but with some sleet and snow over the hills affecting Southwest Scotland and the far north of England. Central and northern Scotland should be dry and breezy. Highs at 5C in northern Scotland, 10C in southern England.


Sunday Night
Overnight Scotland stays cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain, some sleet and snow over the hills. Much of the rest of the country is going to be dry with broken cloud although some showery rain may affect far south-west of England and may also trouble southern coasts as well. A few mist patches inland by morning. Lows at -2C in central Scotland, 2C in northern England, 7C in southern England.


Boxing Day
Monday bring some rain to the far south of England although this should clear through the afternoon. There will be some outbreaks of rain affecting central and northern Scotland with some sleet or snow on the hills here. Other areas are likely to become brighter and dryer although cloud increasing in western Ireland through the afternoon with more rain expected later. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 10C in southern England.


Tuesday
Tuesday sees a frontal system with rain, snow on preceeding edge, push eastwards across the north. Central and southern England though staying mostly dry. Milder air starts to push in from the south. Still cool though across Scotland into northern England. Highs at 4 to 7C in the north and 8 to 12C further south.
