A fine day ahead for much of England and Wales with hazy sunshine but cloudier for Northwest England, the north and west of Wales and parts of Southern Ireland with some drizzly oubtreaks, especially around hill slopes exposed to the southwesterly breeze. More persistent and sometimes heavy rain with strong southwest winds across the north and west of Ireland and Scotland, although parts of Eastern Scotland will be drier.
