Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy in places.

It will be a rather cloudy morning on Friday. Outbreaks of rain are expected for Ireland, England and Wales. This will be more heavy over the western counties of Ireland and Scotland, with some snow over higher ground. Temperatures in the afternoon will reach 5C in north and 7C in south.

Cloudy in the evening with some rain and hill snow for southern and eastern Ireland, Wales and northern parts of England. Southern and eastern Scotland will see a period of sleet or wet snow even down to low levels, but with slushy accumulations. Frost developing overnight away from the southeast, with a risk of icy surfaces. Minimum temperatures at -2C in places.
