Saturday
Showers and or longer spells of rain will circulate around Scotland and Northern Ireland throughout the day on Saturday. The showers are likely to be heavy and slow moving in places though with sunny spells in between. A band of rain continues to track southeastwards, clearing much of Wales first thing, while pushing into central and southern England. Southeastern areas should remain dry with lasting sunshine. Sunny spells and a scattering of showers behind the rain and across Ireland. Highs at 15 to 21C.

Saturday Night
Overnight, rain fizzles out across England with many places staying dry with clear spells. Elsewhere across the country there will be mainly dry conditions, though in a west to northwesterly wind, showers will push on to western coasts and hills, frequent at times. Lows at 7 to 10C.
 

Sunday
Low pressure sits north of Scotland on Sunday. Showery rain will affect much of the northern half of Scotland with more persistent spells of rain across the Highlands. Drier further south here though rather cloudy. Showers too affecting Northern Ireland. Outbreaks of rain pushing eastwards across northern and central parts of England as well as north Wales brightening up from the west through the day. Ireland, the rest of Wales and southern England staying mainly dry with sunny spells. Highs at 16 to 22C though cooler across northwest Scotland.

Monday
Low pressure slowly moves away from the UK on Monday as higher pressure ridges across from the North Atlantic. This creates a north-westerly wind with showers affecting northern and western coasts and hills, perhaps more persistent rain across the Highlands region for a time once again. Most places will be dry and fine with sunny spells, best of these towards the south and east. Highs at 16 to 24C though cooler across northern Scotland.
