UK Forecast - June 30, 2022
Mixed weather continues
Pressure builds from Sunday

Friday
Low pressure circulates to the west of Scotland on Friday. Some persistent and longer spells of rain will affect northeast Scotland first thing before clearing off. Otherwise it will be another day of sunshine and showers, some of the showers merging into longer spells of rain further north. It does look to be largely dry across central and southern England as well as Wales due to a slight ridge building in here. Cloud thickening as rain advances from the west across Northern Ireland and many parts of Ireland in the afternoon. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Friday Night
Overnight, rain advances eastwards across southern and western parts of Scotland, northern England, Wales and southwest England, clearing much of Ireland from midnight with showers pushing in on to western coasts thereafter. Staying dry further east across the UK. Lows at 7 to 12C.

Saturday
Showers and or longer spells of rain will circulate around Scotland and Northern Ireland throughout the day. The showers are likely to be heavy and slow moving in places though with some sunny spells in between. A band of rain continues to track southeastwards through England and Wales bringing thicker cloud and rain for a time though southeastern areas should remain dry with lasting sunshine. Sunny spells and a scattering of showers elsewhere. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Sunday
Low pressure sits north of Scotland on Sunday. Showery rain will affect much of Scotland into northern England. Northern Ireland also seeing some showers. Largely dry elsewhere with the best of the sunshine across the south and southeast. Highs at 17 to 23C though cooler across northwest Scotland.
