Friday
Pressure stays high through the British Isles today. However, a front will be slipping south into Ireland, southern Scotland and northern England bringing cloud with a few spots of rain over hills. Brighter weather follows to Scotland, a few showers in the north and west. A fair morning across central and southern England and Wales, but cloud increasing here as the front moves south into the afternoon. Temperatures at 28C in southern England, 15C in northwest Scotland.

Friday Night
A weak front passing through England and Wa;es tonight taking cloud with it. There could be one or two spots of rain over high ground, but these should be clearing to the south, along with the cloud. Clearer skies developing to the north. Some low cloud and a few spots of drizzle affecting western coasts of Ireland. Lows at 9 to 14C.
 

Saturday
High pressure over Ireland on Saturday and extending into most of the UK. There could be some cloud affecting eastern and southern areas of England and a risk of a few spots of drizzle afecting eastern areas at first. These fade, the cloud breaks and sunny spells will be developing. Northern and western areas will be brighter with broken cloud and sunny spells. Thicker cloud in northwestern and western Scotland with a risk of some patchy rain in northwest Scotland. Highs at 28C in southern England, widely 22 to 25C biut 15C in northwest Scotland.

Sunday
High pressure is going to be centred over Ireland on Sunday. Some drizzle in northwest Scotland. Further cloud may drift onto eastern coasts of the country. This should break through the morning with sunny spells developing. Elsewhere it should be dry and bright with further spells of sunshine, the best of it in the west. Little change is expected through the day. Highs at 25 to 30C for many, 22C in central and western Scotland, 15C in the northwest.
