Blustery winds, feeling cool

Good morning,

Low pressure is centred north-west of the British Isles, whilst a small secondary low is located over the North Sea, pivoting northwards. A complex frontal system clears eastwards in the early hours.

Central & eastern England should stay dry for many hours with occasional sunshine. The far south-east may escape dry most of the day. Rain in the north-east early morning will clear.

Showery in western regions this morning, with some heavy bursts and possible thunder, these spreading further into central Britain during the afternoon, whilst some brighter spells should develop for Wales and the south-west.

Heavy downpours breaking out for Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands may merge locally into longer spells of heavy rain.

Strong and gusty south-westerly winds for all except northern Scotland. Top temperatures 16 to 19C north & west, 20 to 22C south & east.

Have a great day.
Garry
