Morning Call - July 24, 2017
Dry, sunnier west
Chilly, patchy rain in east

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 24 July 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

An occluded front will stretch from across north east England and this gives some light rain to eastern parts of England and in the morning to parts of the midlands. There will be some sunshine but it is likely to be confined to Northern Ireland and the far western parts of England, Scotland and Wales. A brisk north east wind will make it feel quite chilly around North Sea coasts and in the rain and cloud. Highs will range from 16 to 22 Celsius.

Any residual patchy rain across East Anglia and the south east this evening should clear early in the night. Some early evening sunshine will be found in the west. Most places will have a dry night with clear spells but generally cloudy across eastern parts of England. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.

If you are heading abroad it's looking quite showery across much of Europe with the best of the weather from Iberia eastward across Italy into Greece and Turkey.
