Morning Call - July 21, 2017
Heavy rain moving in
Dry east & far north

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 21st July 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Blustery winds, local gales south-west

Good morning,

Low pressure is centred over Ireland, and a slow moving frontal system affects Wales, the south-west & the Irish Sea, bringing persistent and locally heavy rain and strong to gale force winds.

A warm front pushes across central Britain bringing cloudy skies, and a little rain or drizzle, but the east of England and northern Scotland should stay dry with bright and sunny spells.

Today's top temperatures will be 21 to 24C in the east, locally 22C also in northern Scotland, but in rain in Wales & the south-west only 13 to 16C.

Have a great day.
Garry
