Morning Call - July 17, 2017
Warmer, mostly sunny
Dry and clear overnight

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 17 July 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

High pressure now dominates the weather scene across Britain for a couple of days. Any rain soon clears northern parts of Scotland. Overall it's looking to be a fine, summery day with lots of sunshine to come, although the morning may see more cloud in the west of Scotland and near the channel coast. Highs will range from 18 to 20 Celsius in the north to 21 to 24 Celsius in the south.

A fine evening and there will be lots of early evening sunshine across Britain. Overnight it will be staying dry with clear skies. Just a few shallow patches of ground fog may form in the valleys and glens. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.

If you are heading abroad it's looking very warm across much of Europe with heavy, thundery rain for Greece.
