A mixed day, warm and muggy for many before a cooler night in the north
Good morning,
Much of the overnight rain will have cleared eastern Scotland by morning, to see a sunny spells develop but also some scattered showers also through Northern Ireland. Meanwhile rain will affect Ireland, northern into central parts of England as well as north Wales before gradually easing off and turning patchy.
Southern English counties are likely to remain dry with sunny spells in places here.
A warm and humid day again with temperatures building to around 23 to 28C for many, though fresher and cooler across the northwest.
Overnight, central and southern areas of the country will see some outbreaks of rain, a few places seeing heavier spells of rain for a time. A muggy night here. Drier and cooler with clear spells across Scotland.
Have a good one.
