Rain north & north-west
Good morning,
It will be another mild day across the country, thanks to a strong south-westerly airflow, bringing air toward Britain from the Azores.
A slow-moving front affects west & northern regions, bringing outbreaks of rain to areas surrounding the Irish Sea, plus the Scottish Borders. Heaviest falls likely to affect the hills of Dumfries & Galloway, plus the southern Lake District.
Elsewhere, it should be largely dry, with some sunshine breaking through for the Midlands and southern England. A fresh south to south-westerly breeze for all, strongest in west & northern areas.
Today's top temperatures will reach 11 to 13C, perhaps locally warmer to the lee of high ground in north Wales and also toward the north-east, locally 16C.
Have a great day. Garry
