Sunday
Low pressure is north of Scotland on Sunday allowing for cloud and outbreaks of rain to affect Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland and as the day progresses affect northern England as well as north and west Wales. It looks to remain dry elsewhere with the best of the sunshine in the far south of England. Sunny spells do look to develop across Ireland and Northern Ireland later. Highs at 16 to 22C.


Sunday Night
Overnight, outbreaks of rain will affect places more widely across the the country, including parts of southern England, though many places should stay dry with clear spells developing. Lows at 7 to 11C.

 
 
 


Monday
A more unsettled day on Monday with outbreaks of rain moving in across parts of England as well as Scotland, the rain likely to be heavy and persistent for some. As the day progresses sunshine will develop across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as across much of Scotland but also showers about, some of these could be thundery in parts of Scotland. Highs at 13 to 20C.
 


Tuesday
By Tuesday, heavier rain in the east first thing soon clears offshore allowing for a brighter day though with scattered showers about, some of these heavy and could merge in to longer spells of rain for some. Higher cloud makes skies hazy in the west during the afternoon in advance of the next band of rain approaching overnight. Highs at 14 to 18C.
