Breezy in Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland with low pressure to the north and higher pressure to the south. Cloud and rain for a time in the north of Scotland, mostly in the northwest. More southern and eastern areas are likely to be drier although still with a fair amount of cloud. The best of any sunshine across southern and southeast England where it will feel warm. Highs at 21C in south and southeast England, 12C in northwest Scotland.


Friday Night
Overnight, any longer spells of rain still affecting northwest Scotland should become showery with showers possibly affecting some eastern areas. Elsewhere, expect mostly dry conditions with clear spells. Winds should also ease. Lows at 7 to 10C.

 
 
 


Saturday
A warm front passes north through Scotland on Saturday bringing some cloud and drizzle to the northwest. Higher pressure will be building to the south. This will be bringing dry conditions with some good spells of sunshine, the best in the south and east. Light winds in southern areas although sea breezes on coasts. A warm day with highs at 22C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland.


Sunday
Another warm day for particularly southern regions of England on Sunday as winds become southerly. Many places staying dry with sunny spells but there is the risk of some heavy showery rain, perhaps thundery, moving northwards affecting southern then central parts of England and Wales. Highs at around 21 to 23C in the south and southeast, elsewhere 14 to 19C.
