For the weather for the next few days click here

Saturday 8/4/17
High pressure drifts to the east on Saturday with a warm southerly flow wafting northwards. This brings a fair day with good spells of sunshine and it should be staying dry. Highs of 13 to 20C.

Sunday 9/4/17
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Sunday. This pushes a front into western Ireland and western Scotland bringing cloud and some patchy rain here. Elsewhere it should be dry and warm with the best of the sunshine in the east and south. Highs at 14C in western Ireland but up to 21C in eastern England and areas sheltered from the southerly breeze.

Monday 10/4/17
A ridge of high pressure remains over most of Ireland, England and Wales on Monday. This brings broken cloud and some bright spells, although it will be feeling much cooler. Cloud and rain affect western and northern Scotland thanks to fronts being cose by here. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Tuesday 11/4/17
Little change on Tuesday with a ridge of high pressure to the south bringing mostly fair but cool conditions here. Cloud, rain and showers affecting Northern Ireland and Scotland, feeling much cooler here too. Highs at 6 to 13C.

Wednesday 12/4/17
A front passes south on Wednesday with lower pressure perhaps into the North Sea. This brings some showery rain with it, mostly in Scotland and northern England as well as the northern half of Ireland. More southern areas of England, Wales and Ireland should be drier, although even here it will be cool with a few showers. Windy in Scotland with highs at 5 to 12C.

Thursday 13/4/17
Less cool today as a ridge of high pressure builds over the country. This brings fair weather with sunny spells. Fronts may still affect Scotland though, with further cloud and rain to the north. Highs at 9 to 14C.
