Rain and showers at times

After a very warm, settled start, a cold front sweeps south on Monday to bring a significant decrease in temperatures. Generally an unsettled week to come with showers and longer spells of rain. Brisk winds will also make it feel cold.

A breezy, chilly day to come. Outbreaks of mainly light rain to affect Northern Ireland, Scotland and parts of northern England. Wales and the south will be dry with morning sunshine giving way to increasing cloud. Cloudy overnight with some rain for most areas. Expect high temperatures of 9 to 13C.

Another chilly, unsettled day with a good deal of cloud along with a number of showers and longer spells of rain. A brisk north west wind will prevail. It turns dry during the evening ahead of a dry, colder night. Highs of 9 to 12C.

Mostly cloudy and cool across the country today with occasional showers through the morning and the afternoon. Most of the showers fade during the evening. Rain spills in across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland overnight. Highs of 10 to 12C.

Outbreaks of rain are expected across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England. Across Wales and the south it looks mainly dry apart from a few isolated showers. Highs of 10 to 14C.

A band of rain across Wales and southern England turns more showery in the afternoon. Occasional showers to affect Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. The showers clear in the evening. Highs of 10 to 13C.

Sunday 16/04/17
Low pressure may bring spells of rain in across the northern half of Britain with a cloudy day in the south and with a few spots of patchy rain possible. (low confidence) Expect highs of 9 to 13C.
