Further east the day starts showery, but showers less in number through the day. Maximum temperatures at high single figures for most. Patchy frost overnight in north.
Wednesday 17/04/2024 Most areas will see mostly dry but rather cloudy conditions, while further northwest expect thick cloud to give some rain later in the evening, this possibly heavy over western Scotland. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 10C in north and 12C in south. Patchy frost overnight in north.
Thursday 18/04/2024 Any remaining rain from the northwest will clear through the morning, with high pressure gradually spreading to all offering mostly dry conditions. Maximum temperatures at 8C in north and 10C in south.
