Rain mainly in NW

A cell of high pressure will be the main feature of the weather for much of this next week. Little in the way of rain is forecast with most of it reserved for the north west, perhaps until late in the period. Temperatures will drop from above normal to below normal with an increased risk of fog and frost.

Turning much cooler as the winds come around to the northwest. Morning fog in the south clears. Apart from a few showers in the north west, it's a dry day the best of the sun in the south, more cloud in the north. Quite a breezy and colder night. Any frost will be found in areas sheltered from the wind. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 15C.

A brisk north west wind will make it feel cold with below normal temperatures. Lots of fine, dry weather to come with long sunny spells. A colder, clear night with a frost. Highs of 8 to 11C.

Quite a breezy day so feeling cold. Some rain across Northern Ireland and north west Scotland. Dry for the rest of Britain. A cold start. Lots of sunshine is expected. A patchy frost is likely across rural areas overnight. Highs of 8 to 10C.

Breezy as temperatures recover to normal values. Some rain to come across northern parts of Britain. Dry elsewhere but with lots of cloud. A milder night with outbreaks of rain for many. Highs of 8 to 12C.

 
 
 

Saturday 05/11/16
It appears breezy and wet with rain, this heavier across the north. As it clears Scotland it turns cold with showers, these becoming wintry over the hills of northern Scotland. Low Confidence. Highs of 6 to 12C.

Sunday 06/11/16
It continued quite cool especially near eastern coasts where it will be windier and cloudier with showers. Drier and sunnier the further west you go. Dry, cold and frosty by night. Expect highs of 6 to 11C.
