Sunday
Warm to very warm across England and Wales today with temperatures above normal, especially in the south. High pressure should give much of the United Kingdom a fine, dry day The best of the sunshine will be east of the Pennines and across central and southern parts of England with a good deal of cloud elsewhere. Later in the afternoon some rain reaches the Western Isles. Expect maximum temperatures of 18 to 19 Celsius across Scotland and Northern Ireland, 21 to 27 Celsius across England and Wales.

Sunday Night
Outbreaks of rain and drizzle to affect north west Scotland in the evening and this spreads into much of Scotland during the night. This will be patchy and light across southern Scotland. A fine evening to come across England and Wales with early evening sunshine. It stays dry in the night with clear spells that will lead to some mist and fog patches developing by morning. A warm night with minimum temperatures of 12 to 17 Celsius.

Monday
Another very warm summery day ahead for England and Wales. Any early mist and fog patches disperse quite readily. For Wales along with the southern half of England expect prolonged sunshine. More cloudy and windy to the north with outbreaks of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. In the evening a narrowing belt of rain spills into northern England and becomes light and patchy reaching Wales and the North Midlands in the night. Expect highs of 16 to 27 Celsius.

Tuesday
It continues very warm in the south but fresher in the north. Occasional showers to affect Northern Ireland and mainly western Scotland. The south east of England should have the best of the sunshine today. Elsewhere expect a good deal of cloud with a few spots of patchy drizzle possible across central England. This tends to fizzle out later in the day as it brightens up. The night looks fair and dry across Britain. Expect highs of 15 to 27 Celsius.
