Bright and cool to start this morning over most of the British Isles. Cloud in Scotland and the north and west of Ireland. Isolated showers in northern and western Scotland. Dry for other parts with some good spells of sunshine. Little changes into this afternoon with further sunny spells and dry weather, the best of it in the east. Breezy and drizzly in northwest Scotland and the chance of some spots of drizzle in the far west of Ireland. Highs at 117C in the sunshine in southeast England, 12C in western Scotland.

Cloudy and windy in the west of Scotland and Ireland with outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Drier for other areas with clear skies in much of England and Wales. Lighter winds here too. Lows at 4 to 6C under the clearer skies, 11C in western Scotland and Ireland.
 

Sunday
Fair on Sunday morning across most of England and Wales. Best sunshine in the east, but always more cloud towards the north and west. In Scotland and Ireland there will be more cloud together with a strong wind, gales in the west. heavy rain affecting western Scotland and western Ireland. The rain edges eastwards through the afternoon to be through the rest of Scotland, Ireland and just into northwest England and northwest Wales by evening. Staying dry elsewhere, again the best of the sunshine in the southeast. Highs at 18C in the sunshine in the south and feeling mild for most of England and Wales. Nearer 11 to 13C in the north and west.

Monday
A front may bring some rain to southeast England early on Monday morning, but this will be clearing into the afternoon. Windy with some heavy showers in northern parts of Scotland. Elsewhere a ridge of high pressure builds bringing dry conditions and some sunny spells, the best of them in the east. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 16C in southern England.
