Tuesday
High pressure is centred over the southwest on Tuesday affecting the UK and Ireland. It will be a chilly start to the morning with a few mist and fog patches possible. The day is likely to be dry and sunny over most of England, Wales and Ireland as well as southern and eastern Scotland though high cloud may turn the sunshine hazy at times. Some thicker cloud in northern and western Scotland may produce some light rain or drizzle here. Highs at 9 to 14C.


Tuesday Night
Staying rather cloudy overnight for northern areas with a chance of showers continuing over northwestern Scotland and the Northern Isles. Clearer skies over England, Wales and Ireland will allow temperatures to fall to 2 to 4C. Low of 5 to 8C will be more typical for Scotland.
 


Wednesday
High pressure is centred over the Irish Sea on Wednesday. There may be a few early morning mist or fog patches around and it will be a chilly start, particularly in the south. This will be followed by more dry weather with good spells of sunshine. Northern areas will be cloudier with a few spots of rain for northwestern parts of Scotland. High temperatures at 10 to 15C.
 


Thursday
Pressure stays high on Thursday allowing for plenty of dry weather and sunny spells. Early morning mist and fog patches will continue to be a risk. Western and northern coasts may remain rather murky through the day but it will be bright with good spells of sunshine for most. High temperatures at 10 to 17C.
