UK Forecast - March 18, 2019
Lots of cloud, mild
Drizzle in the west

Tuesday
Plenty of cloud around across much of the UK and Ireland today. There will be some drizzle and patchy rain affecting western coasts and hills. Eastern areas are likely to be drier overall, with a few breaks developing in the cloud allowing for some brighter spells to come through, although even here there could be some spots of drizzle on hills. Mostly dry in Ireland, but again the risk of drizzle on coasts in the west and south. Breezy in Scotland, lighter winds in England and Wales. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Tuesday Night
More cloud in many areas tonight. A few spots of rain and drizzle in central and eastern parts of England, mostly over hills, but this fades later. A further area of cloud and patchy rain moving south through Scotland and into northern parts of Ireland. Broken cloud elsewhere. Lows at 6 to 9C.

Wednesday
A ridge of high pressure extends through much of England, Wales and Ireland on Wednesday. A weak front wil be through Northern Ireland and into northern England. This brings thicker cloud and some patchy rain on the hills. The cloud tending to be more broken across much of the rest of southern Ireland, England and Wales with some bright spells. Sunny spells in central and northeastern Scotland. Highs around 11 to 17C.

Thursday
High pressure close to southern England on Thursday. A weak cold front brings some cloud and rain to northwest Scotland with some drizzle over western coasts of Ireland. For most areas the day will be dry. Always a fair amount of cloud in western areas but the east and south should be dry and bright with some reasonable spells of sunshine developing into the afternoon. Temperatures rising to 18C in the east, more widely 13 to 15C, but 9C in northern Scotland.
