Morning Call - April 18, 2022
Cloudy east
Fresher west, few showers

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 18th April 2022
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cloudy in the east but mostly dry, cooler and brighter to the west with rain in western Ireland

Cloudy for most on Monday morning as a cold front edges east. The front brings some showery spots of rain to northern England and central as well as eastern Scotland. Brighter weather in western areas, although some heavier showers or longer spells of rain may affect the west of Ireland.

This afternoon sees more cloud in the east and a few spots of rain here and there, but for most it should be staying dry with sunny spells. Breezier with some rain in central and northern Scotland, heavier showers in western Scotland. Eastern Scotland should be dry and bright.

Tonight brings shower to Wales and southwest England as well as the west of Ireland. Most eastern areas of the UK should be staying dry with some clear spells.
