Thursday 21/6/18
High pressure is forecast to build into the UK, from the west, through the course of the day. Some scattered showers are possible across parts of the north and east but many areas will become dry with some decent spells of sunshine through the day, these best in the west. A cool and fresh day mind despite the sunny weather and a cool or rather chilly night to follow. Highs 12C to 18C, highest across south-east England.

Friday 22/6/18
Much of the UK will be dry into Friday as the high pressure continues to build from the west through the and this bringing a settled end to the working week. Bright or sunny spells are forecast, perhaps prolonged at times and it will be pleasantly warm through the afternoon but this after a chilly start to the day. Near or slightly below average temperatures. Highs 12C to 18C.

Saturday 23/6/18
Into Saturday and no significant changes are forecast as high pressure continues to dominate across many areas bringing about further fine weather. A cool or rather chilly start is again possible but then much of the day will be dry with some bright or sunny spells, a cool and fresh feel continues but still pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Potentially becoming cloudier through across Scotland and Ireland later in the day. Highs 13C to 18C.

Sunday 24/6/18
Uncertainties by Sunday but Scotland, perhaps N Ireland and the far north of England may become cloudier with perhaps some patchy rain or drizzle developing through the day, but perhaps particularly so across Scotland. Much of England and Wales will maintain the dry weather from previous days with some bright or sunny spells and a little warmer as well here. Highs 14C to 20C.

Monday 25/06/18
Overall little change into the start of next week with still high pressure set to be the dominant feature across most areas bringing further mainly dry weather with some bright or sunny spells, especially across England and Wales, but Scotland could be cooler and cloudier. Warm or becoming very warm across southern areas of the UK, coolest in the north. Highs 14C to 21C.

Tuesday 26/06/18
At the moment high pressure is set to remain the dominant feature across many areas, again continuing to extend up into the UK from the south-west. The exception to this could be northern areas of Scotland where it could still be cooler and cloudier. Overall though much of the UK should be mainly dry and settled by with some bright or sunny spells. Temperatures warm or perhaps very warm for most, especially across England and Wales. Highs 16C to 23C.
