Not as hot next week, but still mainly fair and warm

The weather stays generally fair through the coming days. High pressure continues to give dry weather and warm weather, although the risk of low pressure to the south allowing for a few showers in the southwest. Next week may be less hot overall with more cloud on certain days, although it will be remaining mostly dry.

Tuesday 3/7/18
High pressure stays to the north with low pressure to the south. Broken cloud in Scotland with scattered showers on the hills. Cloud again increasing in the far south of England and southern Ireland. Low cloud again drifting onto eastern coasts from time to time. Fair elsewhere with good spells of sunshine. Temperatures stay warm at 22 to 25C, although cooler on eastern coasts of Scotland and England.

Wednesday 4/7/18
Low pressure stays to the south of the UK with a ridge of high pressure to the west on Wednesday. Scattered showers developing, mostly over the hills of Scotland and northern England as well as in western Ireland. Dry for other areas with sunny spells. Highs at 21 to 26C

 

Thursday 5/7/18
High pressure to the north of the UK on Thursday with an east to northeast flow. There may be more cloud on Thursday, especially in central and eastern areas. fair to the west with sunny spells here although the risk of some showers developing here in the afternoon. Highs at 16C on cloudier eastern coasts, 23C in western parts of the UK and Ireland.
 

Friday 6/7/18
High pressure is expected to remain dominant through Friday. There will be plenty of dry weather with sunny spells. A risk of some showers developing in the west of the UK and Ireland, although these are likely to be scattered. Highs at a warmer 22 to 25C.

Saturday 7/7/18
Pressure stays high through Saturday. This brings another dry day with sunny spells, although always the chance of some low cloud drifting onto eastern coasts. Highs at 22 to 26C, but cooler on eastern coasts.

Sunday 8/7/18
A risk of some cloud in the far northwest of Scotland on Saturday. Fair elsewhere with sunny spells and staying dry too. Winds 18 to 23C.
