Dry and fine west, while the east sits under heavy showers and thunderstorms

Friday
Fine and sunny over Spain and Portugal. Sunshine in the Balearics with a few showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy, thundery showers for Italy. Greece should be fair with sunshine. Remaining sunny and dry as well as very warm in Turkey.
Mostly fair in western France, but some showers in the east. Cloud and some showers in the Netherlands. Sunny spells in western Germany but heavy, thundery rain in eastern parts of Germany. Further thundery rain in western Poland, but dry in the east. Torrential thunderstorms across Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells here. Breezy for the Baltic States with sunny spells. Dry and breezy in Finland. Wet in Sweden with some heavy and thundery rain in much of Sweden. Scattered showers in western Norway but fair for most with sunny periods.

Saturday
Dry, hot and sunny across Spain, Portugal, the Balearics and much of Italy, though some isolated thunderstorms may break out across parts of Italy. Some developing heavy showers across northern Greece, otherwise dry and fine. Turkey is also dry and fine.
Much of France and the Low Countries will be dry and fine though some showers in the far east of France. Heavy showers initially across Germany becoming confined towards the east. Thunderstorms across Poland and generally through eastern European countries.
Heavy rain affecting north and east Sweden, drier further west. Largely dry across Norway though the far southwest will be cloudy, wet and windy. Much of Finland and the Baltic States is also dry though windy. Denmark also within a ridge so a dry and fine day here.
