Thundery, heavy rain across central into eastern Europe
Possible low cloud lingers along some western coasts of Portugal, otherwise it will be dry and fine with lasting sunshine. Largely dry across Spain though again showers looking to develop across northern regions later. The odd local shower possible across the far south of Italy/Sicily, otherwise dry, sunny and hot.
Scattered showers develop across France into the Low Countries and western regions of Germany but also sunny spells. Some local heavier showers developing across the Alpine region otherwise dry and fine through Austria and Switzerland. Dry and fine across central and eastern parts of Germany as well as throughout east Europe.
Rain clearing much of Denmark through the day with sunshine developing behind. Spells of heavy rain affect southern regions of Norway and Sweden with showers in the north. Some patchy light rain across Finland, otherwise dry here. Dry though breezy for the Baltic States.
A clear and fine day for Spain and Portugal, temperatures reaching high 30s by midday in central regions. Dry and fine again across the rest of the Mediterranean.
France will see some heavy showers in the east and southeast, otherwise dry and fine with relatively cooler temperatures. The Low Countries are also dry and fine and feeling reasonably fresher too. A cooler outlook for Austria and Switzerland where heavier, thundery rain is expected to develop from around midday, also affecting eastern regions of Germany while the north and west stays dry and fine. Thundery, heavy showers run into western parts of Poland too.
Windy and wet across southern and western areas of Norway, drier for Sweden. Finland seeing heavy rain push across into western and northern areas. Variable cloud cover and some drizzly rain affecting Denmark for a time but mainly dry here. Largely dry across the Baltic States.
