Saturday 6/5/17
Lower pressure brushes southern areas on Saturday with high pressure to the north. The mains easterly flow persists as fronts edge into southern England. These bring rain to the far south of Ireland, southern Wales and southern counties of England. Probably more cloud than recent days across much of the rest of the UK and Ireland, although the best of any sunshine is likely in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 12 to 15C and a cooler day overall for most.

Sunday 7/5/17
Hints of the flow becoming more northeasterly on Sunday although high pressure still dominates. The change of wind direction brings cooler air in northern and eastern areas together with cloud. More western parts tending to see the best sunshine and staying dry here too. Perhaps cloudier to the south. Tops at 10C in northeast Scotland, 18C in parts of west Wales, Ireland and southwest England.

Monday 8/5/17
The northeast flow continues through Monday. Eastern areas are more prone to cloud with the best of the sunshine towards the west. Staying dry too. The risk of an early frost with temperatures by day reaching 11C on eastern coasts, 17C in the west.

Tuesday 9/5/17
Pressure is expected to be remaining high on Tuesday. This brings another dry day with the best of the sunshine to the west. eastern areas are likely to have more cloud and a risk of a few showers. Highs at 9C in northeast Scotland, 17C in the sunnier west.

Wednesday 10/5/17
The easterly flow persists on Wednesday although pressure is probably going to start falling. There may be more cloud in southern areas perhaps giving a few spots of rain here. More cloud in northern areas too, although tending to be drier here. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Thursday 11/5/17
Lower pressure may be over the country on Thursday. There will be cloud and outbreaks of rain and showers. Highs near 9 to 14C.
