Losing the frosts

A change on the way this week. After a few cold, settled days, the weather turns more unsettled and much milder around mid week as low pressure and fronts bring rain and often windy conditions to all parts of Britain from Tuesday.

Tuesday 06/12/16
Milder today with outbreaks of rain across western England, Wales, western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cloudy in the east but dry until rain arrives in the evening. A wet, mild night across Britain and windy in the north and the west. The rain may be quite light and patchy ion the south. Expect high temperatures of 7 to 12C.

Wednesday 07/12/16
Windy, cloudy and very mild with spells of rain, but mostly dry in the south east and across East Anglia. Rain clears Scotland tonight with heavier rain across England and Wales. Mild and windy tonight. Highs of 11 to 14C.

 
 
 

Thursday 08/12/16
Windy and mild with patchy rain in the north west. Gales may affect northern Scotland with rain and showers. Rain in the south of England clears, clearing the south east in the early afternoon. We may find the rain returning to Northern Ireland, Wales and southern England in the night. Highs of 10 to 14C.
 

Friday 09/12/16
It stays mild, breezy and unsettled with outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain spreading quickly north into all areas. This tends to clear most places during the evening. A dry night with clear spells and a risk of dense fog patches. Highs of 9 to 13C.

We may see more rain across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with strong winds in the south. Cooler in the north but staying quite mild across England and Wales. Most places look wet and windy by evening then becoming dry in the night. Highs of 8 to 13C.

Sunday 11/12/16
Cooler and windy today with a few showers in the west. Persistent rain may sweep in from the west later in the day. Expect highs of 6 to 10C.
