Thursday
A moist southwesterly flow through the country on Thursday. This brings plenty of cloud to western coasts with some drizzle on hills. Brighter in central and eastern areas with some good spells of sunshine. Rain affects western parts of Scotland as well. Remaining very mild in southern areas with little change this afternoon, the best of them in the east. Highs at 18C in the southeast, 13C on cloudier western coasts.


Thursday Night
Drizzle across western Scotland and western Ireland tonight, the winds picking up here as well. Bits of low cloud drifting onto western coasts of Wales and England too. Elsewhere the night will be dry with broken cloud. Lows at 7 to 10C.

 
 
 


Friday
Breezier conditions in Scotland on Friday as a cold front slips east bringing heavy bursts of rain into western Scotland and much of Ireland. This rain then slips southwards into northern England, northern and western Wales and eastern Ireland this afternoon. Brighter and cooler weather follows through Scotland and western Ireland with some showers in the west too. Dry in central, southern and eastern England with some sunny spells and mild too. Highs at 7C in northwest Scotland, 17C in southeast England.


Saturday
High pressure will be over the country on Saturday. This brings a fair amount of cloud, which will break to allow some sunny spells to develop. Patchy rain in northern and western Scotland as fronts pass by. There is a risk of some thicker cloud in southern Wales and southern England at first too, with some spots of rain here. Highs at a cooler 7 to 11C.
