A bright start to the day for Denmark though rain will move in from the southwest by evening. Heavy outbreaks of rain from early in the day for the Baltic States, clearing later. Dry and bright on the whole for Norway, Sweden and Finland though there will be showers at times, some of them heavy over southern Finland.

Saturday

A breeze from the north for the Greek Islands, but southeastern Europe will be generally dry, hot and sunny. A few showers breaking out over the Alps, as a weak cold front passes eastward. This feature also brings showery rain to the Czech Republic and Poland through the day.
Windy for northern-central Europe, with gusts near gale force around English Channel and some North Sea coasts. Showery conditions and feeling fresh for northern France and the Low Countries. Heavy rain moves into southern Norway and Sweden, with frequent bursts of rain too for Denmark through the day. Drier toward the north of Scandinavia, and dry much of the day for the Baltic states and Finland.
