Torrential thunderstorms central and southern Europe
Still unsettled in the east of Spain with heavy rain and thunderstorms along with northern coasts seeing some showery lighter rain moving in here. Thunderstorms pushing across the Balearic islands also. Heavy rain and thunderstorms across northern Italy and the islands while southern regions stay dry with sunny spells. Dry, fine and warm through the Aegean.
Much of France and the Low Countries turning more unsettled with showers as well as longer spells of rain. Heavy showers and or longer spells of rain moving across Switzerland through much of Austria should remain dry. Patchy light rain affecting some parts of Germany but most places dry. Eastern Europe generally settled.
Outbreaks of rain across Norway and Sweden eases through the day. Denmark should remain largely dry though some showery rain is possible in the far north. Largely dry for Finland and the Baltic states.
Rain in eastern Spain, some of it heavy. Portugal should be fair with sunny spells. Rain also afacting the Balearics bringing a risk of flooding in places. Heavy showers or thunderstorms for Corsica and Sardinia. Further heavy thunderstorms affecting Italy. Greece and Turkey should be fine with lots of sunshine and staying warm.
Sunny spells and scattered showers in France. Fair for the Low Countries with sunshine too. Showers, some heavy in southern Germany with isolated showers to the north. Scattered showers for Poland, although these may be heavy and thundery in the south. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will have heavy and thundery showers.
Cloud and some patchy rain in Denmark. Some spots of rain and cloud in the Baltic States too. Chill for Finland with sunny spells. Cloud and some showery rain in Sweden. Windy with heavy rain in western and southern Norway, drier in the north.
