Friday
An area of low pressure to the northwest Scotland affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland on Friday. Staying unsettled with a band of heavy showers and rain crossing eastern over all of England, Wales and southern Scotland. Brighter weather with showers follow from the west, the showers heavy at times. Breezy in England, Wales and Ireland too. Temperatures cool to the north and west at 12 to 15C, but 18 or 19C in the southeast.


Friday Night
Showers becoming confined to Ireland and the western UK through the night on Friday into Saturday but they will likely merge to give longer spells of rain, particularly for northwest Ireland, southwest Scotland and northwest England. Mostly dry elsewhere with variable amounts of cloud around. Clearest skies to the far northeast and southeast. Overnight lows falling to 8 to 12C in towns and cities, cooler for more rural areas.


Saturday
Low pressure is centred off eastern Scotland on Saturday. This brings another mixed day. There will be bands of showers affecting many areas, especially in the morning. Some brighter spells too. The showers tending to ease in the afternoon and become less frequent. Windy in the south, but mild overall here. Highs at 18C in southern England, 13C in Scotland.
 


Sunday
An area of low pressure crossing the UK on Sunday. This takes heavy periods of rain with it, most of it in England and Wales. Following from the west and north during the afternoon will be sunny spells and scattered showers as well as cooler weather. Windy in the south too. Highs at 18C in the south, 11 to 13C elsewhere.
