Tuesday
A slow-moving waving front will remain close to the north of Scotland, with high pressure centred to the southwest of Ireland. Rain or drizzle, with some heavier bursts in the north and west of Scotland. Dry elsewhere, some sunshine in the east and south but cloudier in the north and west. A cool west or northwesterly breeze, strong in the north. Highs 12 to 17C.
 


Tuesday Night
Still some mostly light rain or drizzle around the north and west of Scotland, otherwise dry with variable cloud cover, clear spells in the east and south. West or northwesterly winds, fresh to strong in the north but falling light across southern areas. Lows 7 to 12C.
 


Wednesday
High pressure remains centred to the southwest of Ireland, while the frontal trough edges away from the north of Scotland before returning south again later. Cloudy across the north and west on with some light rain or drizzle at times around the north and west of Scotland and, perhaps, a few spots also cropping up in Northern Ireland and Northern England later. Staying dry in the south and east with some sunshine. Breezy in the north, with strong west to northwesterlies for the far north of Scotland. Highs 12 to 18C and feeling quite pleasant in the sunshine.


Thursday
A waving cold front over Northern Scotland will start to move south across England and Wales later. Perhaps some brighter intervals in the east but cloudier generally. Dry in the south and southeast but with occasional rain or showers in the north and northwest. Breezy in the north, with strong north or northwest winds later. Highs 11 to 15C.
