Heavy rain and showers in the north, drier Mediterranean
Cloudy across north and west Spain and northern Portugal with showery rain about, this largely clearing up later in the day here. Dry with sunny spells elsewhere. Dry and mostly fine for the Balearics but with building cloud later. Much of Italy and the surrounding islands will be dry though the Alpine region will see heavy rain and sleet and snow over the higher ground. Dry and fine across Greece and Turkey.
An unsettled day across France with high winds towards the north and fast moving showery rain. Heavier spells further south and east with again snow towards higher ground. A windy day across the Low Countries and Germany with scattered showers though eastern areas here will tend to stay mostly dry. A band of heavier rain pushes east across Poland clearing to drier weather behind.
Windy again across Denmark with showery rain. High winds for the Baltics with heavy rain clearing eastwards. Some rain through southern Sweden with blustery winds for a time here, otherwise mostly dry with lighter winds. Rain, sleet and snow across Finland.
Turning wet and windy again across northwest Spain and northern Portugal. Dry with sunny spells elsewhere and across the Balearics. Italy too will benefit from plenty of sunshine. The odd shower cannot be ruled out across northern Greece, otherwise dry. Dry and fine through Turkey.
The day improves across much of France with developing sunny spells, though cloud soon builds in the west with rain by late afternoon. A windy and showery day for the Low Countries. Showery rain across Germany, some heavy spells in the north are likely. A few scattered showers on a blustery wind through Switzerland and Austria, otherwise dry with sunny spells. Earlier rain clearing across Poland.
A wet day for Denmark. Spells of heavy rain to affect southern Sweden and south Norway, drier further north. Some scattered showers through the Baltics though many places should stay dry. Largely dry across Finland.
