Risk of thundery showers Thursday

Overall weather conditions will be quite mixed but with a good deal of dry weather about along with the risk of some rain and showers at times. With low pressure moving in from the south on Thursday we could see some heavy, thundery showers developing as it becomes very warm and more humid.

Tuesday 04/07/17
A mostly cloudy day to come. Some dry weather for some but there is a risk of scattered showers developing during the day. An area of more persistent rain may linger across northern parts of England. During the evening the rain and showers fade leaving a fair, dry night with some patchy low cloud and mist by morning. Expect high of 16 to 23C.


Wednesday 05/07/17
A warm day across the south. Scattered showers are possible across Northern Ireland, Scotland and parts of northern England mixed with dry, sunnier spells. Across Wales and the south of England it will be fine and dry with plenty of warm sunshine. Dry for the evening and night. Expect highs of 17 to 25C.
 


Thursday 06/07/17
Very warm today across southern areas. A more unsettled day as well with occasional showers developing across Britain but with hazy sunny spells. Later in the day the showers may be heavier with a risk of thunder in the south. The showers persist well into the evening before it turns dry overnight. Look for highs of 19 to 26C.
 


Friday 07/07/17
Much of Britain will see a good deal of dry weather with some sunshine and cloud. There is a slight risk of scattered, mainly light showers around for the afternoon. Any showers fade away early in the evening. Outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland and Scotland overnight. Expect highs of 19 to 25C.
 


Saturday 08/07/17
Not as warm today but still pleasantly warm in the south. A band of rain across northern England and Wales tends to turn more to showers in the afternoon as it drops into central and southern parts of England. Windy in the north overnight with rain. Expect highs of 15 to 23C.

Sunday 09/07/17
A breezy, fresher day with outbreaks or rain across northern Britain sweeping away into the North Sea. This leaves showers near western coasts. The south will be mainly dry with the best of the sunshine. Look for highs of 16 to 21C.
