Friday
Southern parts remain fairly dry with bright or sunny spells. Over Ireland and Scotland rather cloudy with some showers, but a longer spell of rain is possible over northern and western Ireland. Some rain for Northwest England and Wales too. Increasingly windy through the day, with strong winds over northern and western Scotland later. Maximum temperatures at 15C in north and 19C in south.


Friday Night
Through the evening rain will be focused mostly over western Scotland, where it will be heavy and persistent especially over high ground. Rain will clear through the early hours of Saturday. Elsewhere it will be a mostly dry evening and night. Minimum temperatures at 9C in north, and 10C in south.
 


Saturday
A rather cloudy day for most on Saturday with outbreaks of rain for western and northern parts of Ireland and Scotland, but elsewhere it will be a generally dry morning. Rain will turn heavy over Scotland in the afternoon. Some light rain will push south later in the afternoon. Once rain clears in the evening, shower will follow in northwest. Temperature will rise up to around 12C in north and 17C in south.


Sunday
A mostly dry and bright start for all, but soon thick cloud arrives from northwest with frequent showers especially over the northern and western areas. A longer spell of rain is expected over Scotland in the afternoon, with some snow over the Highlands. Rain will gradually spread south over northern England overnight. Strengthening winds, and feeling cooler than of late with maximum temperatures at 9C in north, and 12C in south.
