Rain in northern and western Scotland, drier to the south

Good morning,

Most of the country is still under high pressure today and this is bringing plenty of dry weather. Some morning mist and fog patches in the far south of England, but these clearing fairly quickly to leave the day dry with some bright spells. Elsewhere across England and Wales there is a fair amount of cloud, but again this breaks with some brighter spells breaking through.

Breezy weather over northern England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. A front gives rain to Scotland and the north and west of Ireland, the more persistent of this affecting the far northwest of Scotland. Drier to the east with some brighter spells here and there.
