Windy and wet at first, then becoming drier
An unsettled start to February as the jet stream becomes established again. This brings strong winds and rain. Indications are that conditions turn drier and less windy after mid-month, especially in England and Wales.
*8/2/20 - 14/2/20* A windy week. Unsettled. Rain and showers. Cold north, milder south.
*15/2/20 - 21/2/20* Pressure builds south. Jet stream north. More rain Scotland and Ireland. Drier England and Wales.
*22/2/20 - 28/2/20* Pressure continues to build. Dry overall. Chance drizzle NW Scotland.
*29/2/20 - 6/3/20* Pressure probably stays high. Overnight frosts. Bright days. Mostly dry. ain northern Scotland.
*7/3/20 to 13/3/20* Pressure stays high again. Dry England and Wales. Risk rain northern Scotland at times.
