Wet early on with heavy rain at times, then a tendency to improve

October is going to be unsettled at first with periods of rain, heavy at times. A tendency for an improvement in the middle of the month. Later in the month conditions are looking to be more settled, although it could be that the far south remains wetter.

An unsettled week. Wind and rain. Turning cooler

*8/10/19 - 14/10/19*
A slow improvement. Rain and showers early. Showers tending to fade. Temperatures starting to rise.

*15/10/19 - 21/10/19*
Bright, sunny spells. A drier week. Warmer days, risk of overnight frost.

*22/10/19 - 29/10/19*
Tending to be wetter in the far south. Dry for most with sunny spells. Cool in the east, better to the west.

*30/10/19 to 5/10/19*
Possibly more unsettled in the south of the UK, chilly too. Staying dry to the north.
