Thundery, heavy showers across northern and central areas of Europe.
Fine for Portugal but showers look to really become apparent across northern and eastern areas of Spain on Friday through the day, heavy and thundery. Thundery and heavy showers also pushing across the Balearics, more so through the morning. A dry and sunny scene is expected across Italy and the surrounding island, however, with a few local showers, possibly heavy, developing. Largely dry, fine and warm across Greece and Turkey.
France will see plenty of dry weather with sunny spells but also showers, these heavy and thundery for some, are expected to soon develop. The afternoon in particular will see heavy and thundery showers push in to southern areas of France. Showers, some heavy and thundery across the Low Countries and Germany but where it is dry expect sunshine. Unsettled too across the Alpine Countries, but more settled with largely dry conditions further east as well as down the Balkan States.
It continues to be largely dry and fine with sunshine for much of Norway and Sweden. A few scattered showers across northern Finland but drier elsewhere. Dry and fine through Denmark as well as the Baltic States.
More showers pushing up from the south into central and northern areas of Spain on Saturday. Elsewhere, including Portugal, looks dry, fine and warm. Heavy and thundery showers also looking to continue to affect the Balearic Islands. Largely dry across Italy and the surrounding islands, although with a few showers across eastern coasts of mainland Italy. Dry, fine and sunny for Greece and Turkey.
A quieter day is expected for France although a few scattered showers are forecast. Largely dry and fine for the Netherlands and Belgium. Heavy and thundery showers expected to affect east Germany but western areas looking largely dry. Switzerland looks to be mostly dry but showers for Austria as well as the Czech Republic. Far western areas of Poland will also see thundery, heavy showers. Drier elsewhere here.
A scattering of showers affecting western parts of Norway as well as across northern and central areas of Sweden, one or two could be heavy. Mostly dry for Finland and the Baltic States. Denmark will see heavy showers push up, some of these likely to be thundery.
