Issued: 0900 Wednesday 15th February 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Mild for all with rain or drizzle at times, most in the north

Mild weather through the week as the winds turn to the west or southwest. This brings plenty of moist air from the Atlantic Ocean, generating plenty of cloud with some drizzle over western hills and coasts. Northern Scotland could be windy at times, and stronger winds could affect all areas next week. Some early hints of turning cooler right at the end of the week.
