Overall much of this upcoming week is looking unsettled with low pressure areas being the main feature of the weather. Fronts will come in at times to bring spells of rain followed by showers. Driest of the weather will be across the more eastern parts of England and Scotland.

Wednesday 26/07/17 A front sweeps in and brings outbreaks of moderate rain to much of Britain, although East Anglia and the south east may not see the rain until the afternoon. A very windy day as well. The rain lingers into the evening then mainly dry overnight apart from coastal showers in the west. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
Thursday 27/07/17 It continues windy across northern areas through the day. A few showers to come in the west and these may become more widespread for the afternoon. Many eastern areas though could escape the shower activity. Persistent rain spills into Scotland and Northern Ireland tonight. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
Friday 28/07/17 Lots of dry weather around today with the best of the sunshine across eastern parts of England and Scotland. More cloud to come in the west along with scattered showers. Overnight an area of rain may affect western parts of Britain. Look for highs of 16 to 20C.
Saturday 29/07/17 Generally detail is a bit uncertain at present, but it appears unsettled with a good deal of cloud with showers or longer spells of rain. Just a few showers in the west in the evening ahead of a dry night. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
Sunday 30/07/17 Occasional showers to affect western parts of the country in the morning. Fair and dry in the east. In the afternoon expect a mix of sunny spells and showers, again most of these in the west. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
Monday 31/07/17 Showers are expected across northern Scotland. Most places look chiefly dry and bright with some sunshine. By evening and area of rain may reach Northern Ireland. Look for highs of 16 to 23C.
