Wednesday
A quiet day ahead across the UK and Ireland as high pressure remains in control of the weather. There will be plenty of cloud for many areas, and this could just produce a spot of drizzle on the hills. The far south of England is likely to be starting the day frosty due to the clearer skies, and it is here where the best of any sunshine is going to be found. The far northeast of Scotland may see some brighter spells too. Temperatures reaching a cool 3 or 4C in parts of East Anglia and the far southeast, mostly 7 to 9C elsewhere.

Wednesday Night
The clearer skies allowing another frost to developing tonight in southeast England. For moss of the rest of the UK and Ireland it is going to be staying cloudy. Most areas will be dry although there is the risk of some spots of drizzle on the hills. Lows will be at -2C in the far southeast but nearer 3 to 5C in the cloudier conditions.
 

Thursday
High pressure extends through the UK and Ireland on Thursday. This is going to be bringing another quiet day of weather. There will be lots of cloud around for most. An odd spot of drizzle may affect more eastern areas of England, but generally it is going to be dry throughout the day. A few bright spells in the far northeast of England and eastern Scotland. Coolest in the southeast at 5C but 7 to 8C elsewhere.

Friday
Highs pressure is expected to be centred over the country on Friday. This brings more dry and quiet weather for all. Plenty of cloud floating around the high pressure area. There will be breaks in the cloud here and there allowing one or two bright spells to come through. Highs at 5 to 8C.
