Rain develops Northern Ireland, later Scotland - snow Highlands
Good morning,
A ridge of high pressure builds from the south-west, bringing a temporary lull in the unsettled conditions across the British Isles.
Fair weather for much of England & Wales, and a cool breeze in the morning will ease. Isolated showers, mainly around coasts, will soon fade. Sunny spells.
A warm front brings rain back to Ireland from the west through the day, spreading to western Scotland and north-west England by evening.
A period of snow will affect the Scottish Highlands by early evening, before milder air spreads in tonight and a thaw sets in.
After a chilly start, today's temperatures will be range from 6C in the north, to 8C in central areas, and up to 10C in the south-west.
Have a great day. Garry
