Warm, mostly dry weekend
Cooler, mixed next week

Issued: 0900 Saturday 24th August 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A very warm weekend, mostly dry, but then a few showers developing into next week

Temperatures rising over the next few days as hot air from the continent wafts northwards. There will be plenty of sunny spells, but also the risk of some coastal and hill fog. The risk of some showers by the end of the weekend, although these fairly limited to northwestern areas but continuing into the new week. Becoming fresher for most from mid-week as conditions become more mixed.
