Much dry weather with sunny spells and feeling warm
Pressure is going to be high over the UK and Ireland in the coming week. This brings warm conditions to many although there will be some cloud around on many days. Generally, most cloud is to the north and west although as the winds change direction cloud will be drifting onto other coasts.

Monday 16/9/19
A weak front remains over the UK and Ireland, together with high pressure through Monday. There will be cloud and some drizzle afecting western coasts and hills again. More eastern and southern areas remain dry with broken cloud and sunny spells. Warm again in southern areas. Cooler and brighter in Scotland with a few showers in northwest Scotland. Highs at 26C in southeast England, 12C in northern Scotland.
 Tuesday 17/9/19
High pressure remains on Tuesday, probably towards the west. This brings plenty of dry weather with sunny spells. Showers in northern and eastern Scotland but dry for most. Highs at 24C in southern England, 13C in northern Scotland.
 Wednesday 18/9/19
The area of high pressure is to the north of Scotland on Wednesday. This brings a fair day again in western areas. More cloud in the east, this breaking to give some sunny spells. Cooler in the east at 15 to 18C, but 20 to 23C in the west.
Thursday 19/9/19
Pressure stays high on Thursday. This brings dry weather and plenty of sunshine, especially in the west. Cloud and some drizzle in the far north of Scotland as a warm front passes east. Highs at 16C in northern and eastern areas, 21C in southern and western parts.
Friday 19/9/19
High pressure on Friday brings a mostly dry day. Broken cloud and some sunny spells, although the threat of some lower cloud on coasts. Highs at 17 to 21C.
Saturday 20/9/19
The area of high pressure slips east on Saturday. This brings another fair day with good spells of sunshine in the east although more cloud to the west. Tops at 18 to 24C.
