For the weather for the next few days click here

Tuesday 19/02/19
A ridge of high pressure may build across the country early on Tuesday though a frontal system will bring cloud and rain to western areas later in the day. This allows for some morning mist and fog patches and perhaps an early frost before cloud builds from the west. Light rain will reach most of Ireland and Scotland, northwestern England and north Wales through the afternoon. Breezy in the west. Highs at 7 to 10C.

Wednesday 20/02/19
High pressure stays over the south and east of the UK on Wednesday while low pressure remains to the northwest. A cloudy day for most with the exception of the southeast of England. Light rain and drizzle will affect most of the country too with the exception of the south coast of England. Heavier rain for western Scotland and northwest England. High temperatures around 9 to 12C.

Thursday 21/02/19
High pressure builds again on Thursday allowing for a brighter day for much of England and Wales. Some mist and fog patches could affect Wales and southern and central England first thing. Any morning rain over Scotland and Ireland should ease with the exception of the western coast of Ireland where rain may persist through the day. Overcast for much of the day for Ireland and Scotland. Breezy in the west. High temperatures at 10 to 15C.

Friday 22/02/19
High pressure shifts to the east bringing the UK and Ireland into a southerly airflow. Cloud will build from the west through the day bringing rain to Ireland and southwestern parts of Scotland, England and Wales through the afternoon. A breezier day for most areas. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Saturday 23/02/19
A south to south-southwesterly air flow persists on Saturday bringing a mostly dry and bright day. A band of rain should clear Ireland and Scotland by the early afternoon. Staying breezy in the west. High temperatures at 11 to 15C.

Sunday 24/02/19
The UK & Ireland remain in a southerly air flow through Sunday. It will be a dry day for most with cloudier skies in the north and west. Best of the brightness in the southeast. High temperatures at 11 to 16C.
